Dr. Venugopal is a senior practicing Paediatrician with more than 50 years of clinical practice. He joined the Kerala Government Health service and worked as a Paediatrician in various government hospitals across Kerala. Post-retirement he has been working as consultant Paediatrician at Ramdas clinic and Nursing Home.

He is a versatile, reputed doctor with a penchant for acting. He has produced many short films with an aim to raise public awareness and has been playing small roles in commercial Malayalam films. He has been a senior IMA member and has held various posts in the past.
