In 1979, completed MBBS from Govt Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai under the University Of Madras.

Worked in  Ramdas Clinic as a  general practitioner till  1988.  Joined for DLO  at her alma mater. Govt. Kilpauk Medical College & Govt. Royapettah Hospital. Completed DLO and rejoined here in 1990, since then has been working here. An ENT surgeon has done quite a few Tonsillectomies and Septoplasties.

Due to various reasons, ent practice was reduced and started more of Obstetrics & Gynaecology practice. Has conducted plenty of normal labour, vacuum extraction, and major and minor surgical cases:-  D&Cs, LSCS, etc.
