Dr. K. Gowthami completed her Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGO) in 2014 from Stanley Medical College Chennai, and subsequently completed her DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2019 from G. Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital Coimbatore, Tamilnadu.

She performs a variety of Obstetrics and Gynaecological procedures including conducting normal labour, Caesarean sections, abdominal hysterectomies, laparotomy, D&C, and D&E. She has also been providing primary infertility care.
